have you had your Vitamin B12 level checked? I have pernicious anemia....which is caused by very low levels of vitamin b12....I lack a protein in the stomach that allows the body to absorb b12 from the food I eat and from oral supplements so I have to take monthly injections....one of the symptoms is numbness and tingling in the hands and feet.

yes actually it was tested May22 B12 was 281 >132 considered normal, The neurologist I went to sent me for that right away,  someone told me to ask about parathyroid disease because my Calcium (total) was 2.43 ref range 2.12-2.62 being its at the upper part of the ref range to get a ionized calcium result which would be elevated if parathyroid, I am going to ask about this tomorrow  I just thought because Suzie had similar symptoms maybe they have subsided with the TT (its very frustrating)

I had my B12 level checked and it within Normal levels.  The tingling in my hands has subsided as well as my lips and jaw.  But the doctor is not sure if it is because the thyroid was so enlarged that it was pressing on arteries and nerves causing the numbness, tingling and swelling or if it was that my Calcium and Vitamin D levels were low.

She thinks that the tingling in my feet is caused mostly by a combination of poor circulation...cause I have been sitting or laying so much after standing on my feet so much at school ( I haven't been to school for about 3 weeks but she thinks it is residual from so many months of standing then inactivity)

Hope this helps...Let me know how it goes at the endo

Suzie
