I have just discovered this thread and have recieved a generalizedGeneralized anxiety disorder idea about hair loss. But, here is mya question. I had been hyperHyper-sal thyroid for a very long time but retained most of my hair. In September I had hair transplant surgery to "fill in" a quarter sized balled spotBirthmarks - pigmented Liver spots Measles, koplik spots - close-up Mongolian blue spots at the top of my headHead and face reconstruction Head injury Head lice Indications of head injury Radial head injury and loss in the front (I assume which was excellerated male patterened baldnessHair loss Male pattern baldness). But elswhere my hair was thick and long. 3 weeks ago I had RAI treatment and in 1 week my hair began to fall out in fistfulls. Now the baldspot has looks three times worse, the hair on the top and sides has thinned and its basically as depressing as can be imagined. Am I currently on Tapazole. After reading the posts and hearing that hair will eventually grow back, my questions are : Should I expect hairloss to continue? When will it begin to grow back? Will it grow back thinner? and last, will this effect the hair transplant (Hair was supposed to grow 3 months after transplantation, but now that all my hair is falling out Im wondering how that will be effected - did I waste that time and money?)
Sorry if that was a long post - I'm just beyond depressed by the last two weeks. My doctor never forewarned my about this at all. Thank you.
