Question about hypo levels & exercise

sorry to post another question in such a short time but I am curious about exercising and thyroid levels - here goes:

If your hypo and tsh level is like 39 does that mean you bascially have no metabolism at all?

If I'm hypo and exercise like normal will I lose weight if my levels are off? or will it just make me feel worse?

Thanks

I have stressed about the weight thing!
It took me 1 year to lose 40lbs and 4dress sizes and I managed to keep it off for 2yrs. I've gained 10 lbs since surgery and am feeling very uncomfortable. The weight that has returned went straight to my tummy =(

Having said that I know I have to be patient while I'm still in the med adjustment phase!I guess being hypo can stir all the old anxieties in us, mine being weight gain.

Thanks again for being there girls, it truly means alot.

If you can tolerate exercise (and your doctor okay's it), go for it.  I was too tired to do more than drag my body to work and back each day.  But if you can do it, go for it!!

Feel better soon

I lost a lttle weight on the LID  while I was hypo. Now go ahead and exercise if you have the will or energy to do it.I know I would take some walks while I was hypo and I would feel a little better. But most of the time I was hypo I had no energy to do that very often.
Everyone is different though. You may be the one who doesnt gain. You know what I mean?
In a word dont stress about the weight thing.OK?
