RAI & the aftermath

Hi all, newbie to the board. Does anyone know of the Do's & Do Nots after RAI? Questions such as can I use a cellphone? Can I use a computer? Isolation for 3-4 day's is going to make me go mad.
Are you tired after the RAI treatment? I have let my problem go for 4 months and now down to 99 lbs from 117. Turn 56 today and 5'3". Have appointment with Endro Monday Dec 27th.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I had it, but was never told to "isolate". Went home to my hubby & 1yr old.

Hi!
I had RAI on october 8th this year.  I was in isolation from the day of RAI which was a friday until the sunday evening.  I had to stay in the hospital for isolation as the hospital was over 2 hours travel from home.  Although, on the sunday morning; I was allowed a visitor.  The hospital allowed them to stay in my room with me for 40 mins, but they had to stay on the other side of the room.
As for your questions, I used my cellphone (but I was advised to use the headset so I was using the earphones rather than speaking into the phone itself.  I also was allowed to use my laptop, but, I wore the clear hospital gloves while handling the computer and the keyboard was wiped over once I was done.

Good luck!! :)

I have not had RAI so can't answer your questions, but just thought I would bump this post up for you.
