RE: Dizziness/Panic after Grave's remission

by AshGraves, May 24, 2008 08:08PM
Dr. Lupo:

Thank you for your quick response. I stopped taking my daily 5mg of Tapazole on April 10. My levels prior to stopping were:

FT4: .96
FT3: 3.01
TSH: 1.57
TSI: 96

On May 12 (almost 5 weeks later) my levels were:

FT4: 1.05
FT3: 2.9
TSH: 1.11

Now it is May 24, a little over 6 weeks later and I am still experiencing the dizziness from mid-AM til bedtime, and mild waves of anxiety/panic in the late afternoons. So, given my levels, am I stuck with some type of anxiety problem, or could it be that I needed to wean off the Tapazole more slowly. Could I go back on the Tapazole (at the discretion of my Dr.) and then wean back off over several months? Thank you, immensely.
