Rash

Does anyone else get an itchy rash on their upper neck and lower jaw area?  I started getting this within the last year and have been on Levo for several years.  It comes and goes, I will go for several weeks and not have it and then all of a sudden it shows up again.  It seems to be mostly on the left side and kind of looks like acne but it doesn't act like it and it's really itchy.  Just wondering if this is related to the hypothyroidism or something else altogether.  I've shown it to my doctor and she just prescribed a cream to put on it and said she doesn't know what's causing it.

Same thing here also on Levo wondered if it was that as well!!! I have changed from down pillows thinking that laying in one and hugging it might have contributed. I've also checked laundry soaps, shampoos which both for a while I thought were the culprits. It's been 2 years approximately since these randomly appearing itch spots pop up. I've ruled out everything In an think of except the Levo. I wonder if thst isn't it after all??!

When you started on Levo, had you been diagnosed as having Hashimoto's Thyroiditis?  How much Levo are you taking and what are your thyroid related test results and reference ranges shown on the lab report?  Do you have any other symptoms?

Did you ever figure this out ? I have the same rash, left side too. Also on Levo but never thought about that being a  contributer?

This is interesting.  I do get in our pool a lot during the summer but I get the rash all year long even when I'm not in the sun.  I just keep wondering if it's thyroid related or Levo related.  Hmmmmm......................

I've had that rash in the same place that comes and goes for years.. mostly there. I use a steroid cream for the itch that works well that my Dermatologist gave me for my hands. I don't know though if it is related to thyroid or meds.

I was kind of wondering if it was sun damage.  Interesting!

I get the same thing! On the right side. No idea if it's thyroid related though
