I saw a GP recently who tested my TSH levels a few times. The first month they were 3.94, the next month 5.75 and recently 4.74. My only real hypo complaint in the past was thin hair, kind off dry skin, poor memory, fatigue and random joint pain. Recently the birth control pill I just started made my symptoms worse. I told her I was on the pill and she didn't seem to think it was a problem. After testing my ANA, t3 and t4 she concluded I had high TSH levels and put me on Synthroid. My stomach reacted badly to the lactose and I was switched to Levoxyl. Being subclinical I'm not even sure I should be on this drug. So far my hair is falling out (which it never was) and in the evening and morning before I take my meds my heart is pounding and I get a horrible headache-when I take them, it goes away. Also if I don't take the meds recently my feet get ICE cold. I have not noticed any weight loss with hard core dieting and excercises. I am so confused, and I think I might have some sort of autoimmune disease. Question is, my physical reactions are odd. It is like I need the meds but I'm not tolerating them or the dose is too high, which seems impossible because I'm on .025 Help!!
