Reason for Armour if Levo is working?

by johncp, Nov 19, 2008 08:56AM
Is there a reason to try Amour or cytomel if thyroid test are normal with levothyoxine?  My test have come back normal but I still feel hypo and hyper at times.  It changes throughout the day and by the afternoon I am very tired.  Is a twice a day levo regiem normal?

Thanks,

John

What tests did you have done?? Did you have a TSH, Free T3 and Free T4 done? Have you ever had the antibody tests done to see if you have hashimotos? When you say normal, what is the exact number and with the lab ranges? A normal can mean many things....and can also mean you are still hypo. Get your lab results and post them here with the lab ranges so we can take a look. :)
