Recently diagnosed with Follicular Atypical Epithelium

I was recently made aware of this through my second biopsy.  My doctor did the second aspiration and sent out the cells to a lab.  He called me several days later with the lab results.  I'm not sure what to do at this time, I lost my father to Squamous cell carcinoma earlier this year?  Is there a window of time for me to make an informed decision?
