Recommed Thyroid Dr

I am looking for recommendations for a *good* thyroid/adrenal Dr in the Baltimore, MD area who accepts insurance. I have a long list of thyroid/adrenal related symptoms as well as multinodular goiter. I am told by other thyroid patients that my drs are still missing diagnosis & treatment of symptoms despite "normally functioning gland" according to labs.

I've been to several endocrinologists in the Baltimore/ DC area, including the endocrine clinic at Hopkins.  The only endo that I've seen that is worth recommending is Dr. Kundra at Washington Hospital Center in DC.  She doesn't treat based on the ref. range and she is the only one who has been able to feel my nodules without knowing US results.  I've also heard good things about Dr. Sindler in Pikesville, but I have no personal experience with him.  I think Dr. Kundra's wait list is only a month.

Thank you! I will look to see how far they are from me. I live in PA but my insurance is out of MD. At this point, travelling is a small price to pay. I had actually considered Johns Hopkins, so it's good to know that I shouldn't waste my time. Anyone have experience with the endo group at Union Memorial or drs other than endos?
