Recommended level for Reverse T3?
Where in "normal range"should the Reverse T3 be? My 9 yr.old daughter (born without a thyroid gland) just had this tested again and I will get the results back on Monday (11/16).  Lab Corp. was used and their previous reference range for this was (170-790). I thought I read somewhere recently that it should be under 250? Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated!

Try this link:

This article suggests it's the ratio of T3 to RT3 that's important...T3/RT3 x 100 should be 1.06 to 2.2, "preferably in the upper end of this range".
