Severe Ear Ache

Hi There,

Since my biopsy about 2 months ago, l have been having severe pain going up my left side of my head.

Starts from my jaw and goes into my ear which is very painful then goes up into my temple!!

I get alot of headaches also, I do have a small nodule at 1.7 cm my Endo is watching it and I have another appointment in October to see how I am doing.

Is this normal?

Have a great day everyone  :)

I thought that is what that meant... My tests have all come back okay though, but my Endo what's to keep track of it to see if it grows my this pain is really awful when it comes!!

I think he probably won't make a big deal about it, he has already said my nodule is very small at 1.7 cm. But he's not in pain I am..

Maybe I just have an ear infection, but it starts from my jaw and goes up to my temple...

I will just have to wait and see I guess..

Thanks Everyone :P

TT is  a total thyroidectomy (they take the whole thyroid) that is what I had and how weird I had a 5.2 cm nodule on one side and 5 cm on the other no real ear pain did have some after surgery but nothing major though.
Hope you get this taken care of soon, I hate and ear ache or a tooth ache they are the pitts.

yes i had a tt.  I thought the pain in my neck and ear was from stress- this was before my lump was even found. I can't really remember the time frame of when it started.  I found my lump in March and had my TT on May 30th.

Thankyou for responding!!

Yes, I am afraid that's what the Dr. would say!!!  What is a tt? My nodule is to small I don't think it would press on anything...I hope!!!!
When did your pain start? I am a little worried...

Always something :0

Thanks Wendy

I had a nodule and had ear pain as well. This was before any tests were done.  They always checked my ears and said "they're fine".  I ended up having a tt for cancer- ear pain now gone.  Coincidence?  My ear hurt the same side as the nodule.  Mine was 2.5cm.  I am convinced the nodule was pressing on something to cause pain.  Just a thought.
