Should my daughter be freaking out over bloodwork indicating hyper or hypor thyroid?

Her doctor hasn't seen her yet for a physical exam but ordering scans which she can't get until January but already thinking the worse scenario which  has this mom naturally worried. Any words of wisdom? Praying that nodules aren't present

Have you seen any results, at all?  If so, you can post them here, along with the corresponding reference ranges and we can give our opinion of what's going on.  That might help ease your mind.

Thyroid nodules are very common and usually nothing to worry about, but if you can tell us what you might have been told, perhaps we can ease your mind, there, too.

Along with that, it would be helpful to know how old your daughter is and what, if any, symptoms she might have.

My only words of wisdom are to never think the worst until you're forced to, because it's hardly ever necessary and it wastes way too much energy...
