Stomach Flu Effect On Thyroid

by dani2776, Aug 24, 2009 08:55PM
Can anyone tell me what the effect, if any, on my thyroid will be from suffering with the stomach flu?  I just came down with it last night and today I am MISERABLE in more ways than one.  Other than the stomach issues, it seems every single symptom I have experienced thus far has returned and with a vengeance!!  Is this normal and how long does it take to level out???

First thought to mind....thyroid medicine is absorbed through the stomach so if the acids and such are off so might absorption. One day without thyroid medicine does a number on most of us.
