Hi all- So I was told to stop my Synthroid for 5 days because I am going to start ArmourArmour thyroid. Well... its been 3 days and I feel tired, achy and lightheaded. Could this be from the stopping of the Synthroid?
I was not feeling like this before stopping or the last 2 days. I think I am going to start the ArmourArmour thyroid tomorrow. Dr didnt want me to take the ArmourArmour thyroid right away because I was getting anxiety and heart palps occassionally and he said the ArmourArmour thyroid could stimulate that.
Just in case not everyone knows.. the Synthroid was supposedly giving me the heart palps due to too high of dose.
I have no "real" Armour knowledge, but I do know that it contains natural T3. If you were getting palps on Synthroid, I think you'd definately get them on Armour (I guess depending on the dose). I am not the expert here, but after my TT and RAI, I did take a Levothryoxine T4 and Cytomel T3 combo. I had issues with sleep and I wasn't sure that I wasn't converting enough of my own T4, so I had them take me off the T3 and try T4 alone and switch to Synthroid (the name brand). I may add it back, but right now, I'm trying to rule out a T4 conversion problem. What was your T3 & T4 before the change to Armour? I just sounds like a weird move to me if you were having palps with just Synthroid, to go to Armour, but again, I'm not the expert, and I don't know enough of your story...
