Such a weird feeling

So I have Hashimoto's and recently I've been feeling like i have energy in my body, but my body is not able to make use of it.. like a person who took a sleeping pill and drank a cup of coffee at the same time.

This is kind of a new thing for me because I used to just not have any energy at all, now i feel it's there but that my body does not know how to harvest it. This is causing really uncomfortable bouts of insomnia because even though i desperately want to sleep and my mind is done for, my body wants to be active.  I've noticed that these feelings usually come one day before having a hyper-thyroid-ish day....

No heart palpatations, but my heart is beating fast, but i still would rather lay down.

Any one else feel like that?

ALSO, anyone else get a swollen tongue? this didn't happen to me before but all the sudden my tongue feels swollen and I feel extra tired from not sleeping well due to my tongue being too big for my mouth. (No allergies that I know of, and this is happening along side these weird feelings of unexplained contained energy....)

I also have an issue with my tongue feeling bigger than it used to. I'm not sure if that is a side effect from having my splint, or if it is from having thyroid problems and therefore exacerbating my tmj disorder...ugh...I hate not knowing. I'll ask my endocrinologist next week when we go over my ultrasounds :-) good luck!
