Supplementation

If I take selenium, iodine or vitamin d3 with my thyroid med, will it boost it's effectiveness?

I take those supplements and believe they are all helping me feel better.  I have ran my routine by two doctors who say keep taking them if they are helping.  In other words they are not hurting anything.  But yes be careful to be regimented about your thyroid med routine.  Follow the "rules" everyday.  I was actually able to lower my dose but keep my TSH in suppresion dose range once I was being strict about taking the meds properly.  I'm even careful to not eat a breakfast high in calcium.

You can take supplements while taking thyroid medication; however, you should maintain a 4 hour separation between thyroid med and vitamin/mineral supplements.

Selenium has been shown to help with the conversion of FT4 to FT3.  Iodine is contra-indicated if you have Hashimoto's.

Vitamin D, alone, is, typically, a gelcap and probably wouldn't affect med absorption that much, but maintain a separation.  Because the vitamin D I take 'is" a gelcap, I usually take it a couple hours after my thyroid med.

No. You do not want to take any of those supplements at the same time as your thyroid med, because they will interfere with your body's ability to absorb the thyroid med. Please try and keep all of your questions in one thread so we can better keep track of the things you are asking.
