Swollen lymph nodes after TT?

by treimbol, Jun 01, 2008 01:12PM
Did any of you experience swollen lymph nodes after your TT?  I had a few palpable nodes before surgery that my surgeon had me get ultrasound...They were both 1cm or less and he said when he opened me up, they looked like nothing so he left them.  My path report came back and the tumor was 1.5cm and contained within my right lobe so it's not thought that it has spread to my lymph nodes.  Now I have a few more that I can feel, all less than 1cm, but I am concerned.  Could this have been caused by the surgery?  I know he actually cut open a muscle to replace a parathyroid he had dissected so I thinking maybe this caused it??  I am not sure.  Did anyone else experience this?
