Synthroid and weight gain

by vivfla, Aug 26, 2008 05:36PM
The Endo Dr finally decided to put me on Synthroid .025 once a day.  My question to you all is: Does it cause weight gain?  Should I ask for Armour instead?

Synthroid does not cause weight gain. If the dose is correct (which can take some time), it will regulate your metabolism to where it should be.
