Synthroid potential
Can Synthroid keep improving levels after reaching full potential in ones bloodstream??
About 5-6 weeks after starting on a T4 med like Synthroid it should reach full effect on serum levels of Total T4 and Free T4. There are anecdotal indications that conversion of T4 to T3 may continue to increase for a while after that. In other words it is believed that it takes some time for the conversion process to ramp up to full effect.
