The thermometer is left under the arm pit for 15 mins
and done on non-ovulation days.
The correct way to take a thyroid temp. is under the arm pit, in the mornings before getting out of bed and any type of movement. Approx. the same time everyday for 7 days, then take an average. This is a true thyroid temp.
This is normal reaction for temperature and not unusal.
A hypo thyroid temp. would be below 96.7
A hyper temp would be higher than 100.
These are normal healthy temps.
Go by your thyroid levels of TSH and both FTs.
If your heart is pounding you do not need more t3 - you might need less.
You might need to add more t4.
Or stop this type of med. treatment.
Talk to you doctor and follow the advise.
