TSH 3rd Gen Test

by Tita2, Sep 11, 2009 10:16PM
My TSH 3rd Gen Test showed a result of 7.403.  My doctor wants to put me on medication.  Should I run further test, or should I start a treatment right away.  I've been feeling fatigued but I thought it was due to being a new mom.  Your answer is greatly appreciated.

The TSH 3rd generation test is a vague test to indicate anything going on with the thyroid.

Your better off getting the free testing as 6hashi said and compare them to a standard TSH
