Your TSH is higher than normal and suggests that you have hypothyroidism. Is that the only blood test that was done? Has your doctor ordered tests for Free T4 and/or Free T3? Those are the actual thyroid hormones and are much more important than a single TSH test.
The typical treatment for hypothyroidism is replacement thyroid hormone medication. Did your doctor prescribe any medication for you? Please tell us what medication/dosage might have been prescribed.
Also, please tell us what symptoms you might have, since symptoms are, really, the most important of all and the goal is to alleviate any adverse symptoms you have, so you'll feel well.
