TSH result normal, but experiencing hyperthyroid symptoms

I have a very large thyroid nodule, which developed over a period of one year and have experienced a change of health during this time including hyperthyroid symptoms such as increasing palpatations, trembling, heart racing, hightened anxiety, tiredness and irritabiltiy. I have just had my TSH levels checked and I was suprised to be told the results were within the normal range. They were 0.6mu/L.  I would like to know if anyone has had a similar experience or could advise me regarding my TSH result as it appears to be quite low?

I had four thyroid nodules, all my hormone levels were normal, I had cancer.  The cancer was in my tyroid tissue, not the nodules.  I also have a sister who I made get tested, turns out she had normal function, one nodule, and cancer too.  Please get an FNA biopsy, Mine did not reveal cancer, I had to have a lobectomy before they found mine, then a TT followed by RAI.  My sister, however, got lucky, they found the cancer during her FNA biopsy, she is now scheduled for her TT.  You can't be too careful!

PS, what tipped me off to trouble was tiredness, hoarseness and swallowing issues, hot/cold, night sweats, wacky periods, puffy eyes, weight gain and/or loss, and blood pressure spikes.  My sis had some of the same, it was really a shocker when she found out.

Thanks for your reply. So sorry to hear of your experience. I hope that you are now much better.  I have had four FNA biopsys, but the result was always inconclusive as they were unable to take enough cells.  This has been going on for months and quite stressful, but recently I had a second scan which showed no change in the size of the nodule so I've tried to put cancer out of my thoughts. Your comments are interesting to me though as I constantly have a very dry sore throat and seem to be fighting off a "heady cold" every 2 weeks or less.
