TSH=6.2 in pregnancy

I,m pregnancy, and my pregnancy is in  fifteen weeks.,in the last week result of my TSH was 6.2,and my doctor increased dose of levothyroxin (levothyroxine),I want to ask you ,IF increase in TSH had been influnce on my chrysalis until now?because I,m very agaze.
and how many times do I must to check my TSH in pregnancy?

hi,

i don't understand your post.

anyway good that you've increased your meds. should test every 4 weeks.  can also adjust every 4 weeks if need an increase in meds.
normal dose increase is in 20 - 50% range for most.


target tsh is 1.0 in pregnancy.

You will need regular monitoring throughout your pregnancy. Every 6 weeks is optimal. After the baby is born you will more than likely need to go down in your dosage.
If you do not take more medication then it can affect the baby. You are wise to continue having the dose changed as pregnancy continues.

Super_sally she meant embryo, in her language the literal translation to English is chrysalis.
