Hi,
I had the antibodies test and I was expecting it to be high to indicate Grave's but it doesn't seem to be so. I saw a great chart at the hospital that lists what the combination of results mean, but I haven't found it anywhere else.
Is it always high when it's Grave's, or can it be normalNormal saline flush? Would these results indicate something other than Grave's?
The antibody that indicates Grave's Disease is the TSI antibody. It is the Thyroid Stimulating Imuniglobulin antibody.
Doesn't look like they ran it. The Anti-Thyroid Peroxidase is also called TPOab. It's good that you tested negative for it, but that doesn't rule out Grave's Disease.
Are you taking anti-thyroid meds to lower the T4T4 test/T3?
