Interesting topic as to the reason autoimmune develops in the first place. I invite you to read the post titled "a Great treatment for Hashimotos" posted today. I could have had a more eye catching title, like 'a possible reason for autoimmune diseases existance'.

The reason for the autoimmune response in Hoshimotos is seldom discussed. Most doctors training in any auto immune ends right there. Autoimmune becomes a reason or answer for many illnesses (thyroid, diabetes, nero-muscular diseases) , but its theories on why it exists in the first place are seldom challenged. Chemicals, plastics, flouride, all forms of sugar, have recently been pointed to as why autoimmune diseases are on the rise in industrialized nations.
