Three odd symptoms

For the past 11 days Ive had a sore throat and frequent nose bleeds. My thyroid gland also appears swollen. Any ideas. Should I bother the emergency doctor this weekend? Cheers.

Thanks Laura. I will go to my GP and get him to run me some tests, My Mum has an underactive thyroid so it wouldnt be a suprise, I still have the sore throat, but the nose bleeds have stopped now. Thanks for you your time.

I would see your family physician....have him run some labs to include CBC, Complete Metabolic Panel, TSH, Free T4 and Free T3. He will be able to feel your thyroid to get an idea if it is inflammed and can always send you for an ultrasound of neck.
