I am a lymph node sweller too - only mine swells on the right mostly and my nodule is on the left lower ablated (after RAI) lower side.
It is whacky but when I get over tired or stressed or upset over things it is present and painful.
I found relief doing a certain thing if you'd like more just PM me - I am pretty tired tonight and i am going off early this evening.
I just found this blog site today, at least i can get some info, oh my
I don't know what I'm going to do, I really cannot go on much longer
like this it is that bad.... I think they are planning on sending me to Ear Nose and
Neck doctor next as they are the ones who will do biopsy as I havent' had
that done yet and with my lymph nodes involved it's probably best
I see the Neck specialist....
LOTS of docs will not remove it just due to enlargement alone. My ENT knows its been 7 months with no change (or very little - I was feeling a bit better when I first started the Armour) and since my thyroid sporatically swells (now it is daily) he MAY REMOVE.
Thankyou for your response, man this is new to me also this year and it is unbelievable to me that these doctors drag this out for months while we suffer, I am so mad about that, I mean I am so bad that I will have to have this darn thyroid/goiter removed...
I have an enlarged thyroid and some lymph node pains too so you definitely not alone in that. I have an undisclosed thyroid problems (no blood test has proved) and I am seeing an ENT. I did not have nodule in April, but the doc thinks I have one now. He did give me a script for Armour (natural thyroid prescription T/3 and T4). I don't have any great insigt for you and I hate that! So sorry! I am feeling now it may be a funny little riddle to my doc that seems to be dragging out! No - he is treating me, but I guess I am just frustrated with it all! Its been 7 months of misery for me and my next US is 10/29. Hope it gets better for you!
