Sorry, can't help you!  I do, however, remember that when I had mine done the pharmacy that makes the thyrogen called me and and I had to give them my credit card number and pay for it before they would release to my doctor.  It was very bizarre. I thought the woman was a sales call and hung up on her twice before my endo called me and chewed me out!

I am to have a 200MCi Dose of RAI. My uptake will be a 4 MCi. I have to do the LID diet but not go off my meds. YUCK!!! I am wondering if any one knows the procedure code I need it for my insurance. Llike RAI is 1-131` that is the code for that one. I am trying to find out if my insurance will cover the thyrogen,,, Make sense?

I forgot to add that after one of those shots I had a bunch of bloodwork!  I have antibodies or something though and they watch me closely so I don't know if you'll need bloodwork or not.  Hope this helps.
