Thyroid + low blood pressure + overweight

Hello everyone.  I've posted before about suspecting I have hypothyroid and I plan to get retested.  I was just with a nurse the other day for something else and found my blood pressure to be very low, 98/60 with normal pulse (I have had a history of low blood pressure with weakness and fatigue for years).  I've also been about 40 pounds overweight for a while and I'm having trouble losing it.

Are these big signs of hypothyroid?

God bless you.

Lindsey

My parents have high blood pressure issues and when I was a child/teen, I used to faint and get dizzy a lot.  My nurse seemed concerned about the number.

80-something?  Wow.

Really, the two readings are not significantly different.  Systolic was a little lower this time, but diastolic was a bit higher.  Has your BP always been low?  It could be from thyroid, but it could also be from any number of other things...including really, reall ygood genes!  If the LBP is not making you feel faint or dizzy, then LBP is basically good for you.  Depending on the time of day, my BP is often 80-something over fifty-something, and I am not hypo (at the moment!).

Had my blood pressure checked Monday, and it was even lower than it was a few weeks ago.  Then 98/60, now 94/64.  I wonder how likely this is to be from a thyroid problem?  I don't get dizzy or faint, just fatigue, sleepy, lack concentration, lack motivation.
