Thanks so much for the info. This is a great web site where you are able to communicate with others who are going threw similar situations and may have more info to help.
The first three tests are anti-body tests, which are not impacted by the tapazole (there is no known treatment for antibodies that cause thyroid problems). I think these are the antibodies that mean you have Graves disease, but I get confused on which antibodies cause Graves and which cause Hashimotos.
TSH is a little low for most labs reference ranges, meaning you are probably still hyperactive and therefore probably still need the tapazole. The other two tests are for thyroid hormone levels but it is hard to judge what they mean without the lab's reference ranges.
Tapazole can be used for up to a year and sometimes requires dosage adjustments to stabilize thyroid levels. 10mg isn't that big of a dosage, I was originally treated with 30 mg, and once my levels started to even out, I was eventually brought down to 10 mg, which I took for nearly a year until I had a TT (I had Graves Disease).
It doesn't seem like this treatment path is inappropriate. If you have questions, call your doctor. Remember that often times having a thyroid disorder requires a lot of patience at a time when all you really want is to hurry up and feel better. Good luck to you.
