Thyroid Goiter

by 4maz, Dec 31, 2008 07:53PM
My Dr gave me a cat scan and biopsy on a found thyroid goiter my treatment has been synthroid 75's. Over the past three years it has been getting smaller. Today I went to my one year check up and the goiter was has big as it was four years ago. I am taking my synthroid every day faithful. The Dr. will be giving me another biopsy Feb.09 My question is why would it get bigger if has been getting smaller?

I am not a doc so really don't know but the expert forum on thyroids mentions that they no longer use Synthroid to "shrink" nodules.  Hmmmmmm
