Thyroid Lab Results Confusing

Just got Thyroid tests back that I had run myself thru independent lab. Can someone tell me if they might indicate if I need to see a doc? TSH 2.390 (range .450-4.500), FT4 .95 (range .93-1.71), FT3 3.3 (range 2.0-4.4). TPO 33 (range 0-34) TGAB <20 (range 0-40). Thanks for any enlightenment you can share because I am confused.

My levels are TSH 2.390 and free thyroxine 1.10 vitamin D of 16. I already take 112 levothyroxine daily but these are my newest results. I have no idea if these are ok or not besides knowing vitamin D is very low. I'd love some advice

With those symptoms and test results, yes I think you should start looking for an Endo that is a good thyroid doctor.  Many Endos specialize in diabetes, rather than thyroid, so it might be worthwhile to post a message asking for a PM recommending an Endo in your area, who is a good thyroid doctor.

You will need to find one that is willing to test and adjust your FT3 and FT4 levels with whatever meds are required to alleviate your symptoms, rather than just medicating you based on TSH  levels.  Symptoms are the most important, not TSH level.

This is a good article that would be worthwhile reading for you.

What was the reason that you felt the need for thyroid testing?  Do you have symptoms of possible thyroid problems?
