Thyroid Level results

Hello,
I just got my results for my thyroid panel. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they are in the normal range or if I should go to a doctor. I have felt really crappy and have gained 15 pounds in the last month. Thanks!

TSH   0.651
T4      7.2
T3      30
Free Thyroxine index 2.2

All of your results are in the normal ranges; however, since the T4 and T3 appear to be total, rather than free, they don't really tell a lot. Some of the T4 and T3 in your blood is bound by protein, which makes it unusable.  The Free T3 and Free T4 are the only ones that can be used (FT4 is converted to T3).  The tests you had done, don't tell how much of the T3 and T4 are actually available for use.

In what way do you feel really "crappy"?  (Symptoms)

Here are my lab results with the Ref. Interval. I am hoping I don't have to get another blood test because I don't have insurance or a job right now.  Thanks for any input.

TSH   0.651                            ref. interval .0450-4.500
T4      7.2                               ref. interval  4.5-12.0
T3      30                                ref. interval 24-39
Free Thyroxine index 2.2         ref interval 1.2-4.9

If you have the lab report, please post the reference ranges. The ranges vary from lab to lab, so must come from your own report.  Usually, the ranges are in parenthesis beside the result; other times, there might be a column, headed Reference Ranges.

It looks like the T4 and T3 are for "total", rather than free.  Tests for total T3 and total T4 are somewhat obsolete and of little value.  You need to have Free T3 and Free T4 tests done.  Can you get your doctor to order them for you?
