Thyroid Nodule/Parathyroid??

I just had an ultra sound to re-check some nodules/cysts.  The endo did the ultra sound himself and he said it would seem I have two nodules (after last time he said three, time before one).  He said they are small, less than 1 cm but he doesn't know if they are nodules, cysts, or active thyroid tissue.  He also said they were both very close to my coratoid  (sp??) arteries and they would be very difficult to biopsy.  Then he said they could actually be atopic parathyroids since my calcium levels have been elevated the last three blood tests.  He said they were small and one was "ugly" but it was OK.  He said true nodules would look gray on the ultrasound and mine look black.   Really confused.  TSH has been very low (.19, .126, .0050, .018) FT4 has been elevated leading him to say I am overmedicated.  Before each of these tests my meds have been lowered each time.  I am to have TSH, FT4, T3, PTH tests today.  He said he doesn't have an answer as to why the levels are so off.  Could this be a parathyroid issue?  Will the PTH test tell for sure?  What other tests might need to be done?  I have asked you a few questions in the past and I really appreciate your answers!

Thanks! Anxiously awaiting results of new tests taken yesterday.  I have been on that parathyroid.com before....good site.  What is a TSK?  I think I had the TPOab and it was in normal range, I will go back through my labs and check.  I have started keeping them....
Thanks!

usually an ultra sound will not show parathyroid issues. A special scan is used to determine a parathyroid problem. These most likely are nodules of thyroid issues.

With you possible calcium issues I believe you need to look at some good parathyroid info. While I don't support this clinic being "the" only.. ( many are good) you can find good info at parathyroid . com/

If anything with you "just" basing the TSH as hyper. you could suggest hot nodules with possible antibodies.

Get better thyroid labs to really know.

TSK - FT3 - FT4 - and antibodies - TPOab and TgAb too.
