Although it is possible to explain each term the whole ultrasound report can help answer your question easier.
The report seems contradicting itself; it says no nodules in first phrase and 2 nodules in the last phrase
"extremely heterogenous with no separate nodules"
Means coase grained tissue, like Swiss cheese or gravel with small blisters in it
"mildly increased vascularuty"
Higher circulation of blood; in the thyroid it indicates Grave’s disease
"two hypoechoic nodules" nodules with increased blood flow; large ones like this an be adenomas or cancerous
"single punctate calcification" coarse is benign, fine [microcalcification] associated with cancer
"Neck lymphadenopathy
Swollen lymph nodes
This condition can be indication of thyroiditis inflammation or malignancy [aplastic cancer I believe]
Blood test results can be helpful.
The ultrasound images must be re-evaluated by properly trained person, so report will not contradict itself
best of luck
Hopefully one of our members that goes by 898 will see this, as he is very good at understanding biopsy reports.
