I go often to my doc for Diabetes. My sis, dad and brother have Hasimotos. Doc is always keeping track of my numbers. For about a year now she has said that my left lobe can be palpated but my numbers have all remined in the normalNormal saline flush range. She decided to get a baseline ultrasound. I have 2 nodules that are complex cysts. They are 1.9cm(the one she felt) and on the other side 1.4cm. She wants to do a scan and then a fnb. She said her gut feeling is that I have Hashis thyroiditis. NOW....with no blood work irregularities are these 2 tests going to tell her that I have Hasis that has not presented itself. Needless to say, I am afraid of the cancer thing as well even though the odds are low. ANY HELP?????
