Thyroid Nueropathy

I was dianosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis in

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis in Aug. of 2006.  In April of 2007 I began to have trouble walking, limping etc.  It feels like my left foot and/or leg is weak.  I now walk with a cane. I have been thinking that I have MS. Stroke etc.  But I have been reading that thyroid disease could be the culpret.  I am on 75 mcg. of thyroid medicine.  I go to my endocrine Dr. next week.  Should I tell her about the weakness?

Of course you should tell your endo about any symptoms that you are experiencing.
Let your endo determine if your symptoms are relevant to your thyroid condition.
Sorry to hear of your additional pains.

I would consult with a neurologist to check for MS or nerve damage.

I have two herniated discs and have many of the same symptoms you are talking about.  My thyroid doesn't seem to affect it.
