Thyroid Uptake/Scan
I have to go in for a Thyroid Uptake/Scan and was just wondering if anyone knows the costs of this procedure. I assume that it's not cheap.
I took a look back at my EOB's from the insurance company. It looks like the hospital charged them about $800 for the test and $180 for the radiologist to read it. However they only paid the hospital about $250 for the test. I don't know what they would charge out of pocket.
