Thyroid and CT Scan
My daughter had a blood test done and her thyroid came back abnormal.
They then did a ct scan and we were told it was normal, but did have
an enlarged lymph node. We have an appointment with a pediatric endo
on Wednesday, but i'm wondering if that would still be necessary? If
a ct scan comes back normal are there still other things that could be
going on?

Good luck with the doctors apptmts. I just went to the nuclear medicine dept. today for my scan and have no idea what the numbers they are talking about are!! 60% absorbed of the iodine, is that good or bad? Who knows! But good luck to you, your daughter and your family.
