Thyroid bleeding
I have a 5 mm adenoma on my thyroid gland, but no symptoms, for the time being.
I recently spit some bood, and I am not sure where it came from. When I read about bleeding
thyroid gland, I started to wonder...How would I know if it bleeds?

I'm not a Dr., but if the blood happens again or continues for no known reason definitely let your Dr know .. I haven't heard of nodules bleeding ....... 5mm is small so this is good news and an adenoma is an overgrowth of thyroid tissue (like a bump).

The intrathyroidal bleeding can happen in long-standing multinodular goiter, but no blood will be spitted out in such case.
