Thyroid diagnosis

I am 29 and my general prac found a solid nodule on my thyroid during a random exam.

My pathology report diagnosis from my biopsy is:
Abundant follicular epithelial cell groups with widespread hurthle cell change.  Follicular neoplasm with Hurthle cell change is favored.

My surgeon did not explain what any of this means.  I have tried researching this and it is not in layterms to understand it.
Can someone please help me to understand what this means?
