I just had a thyroid ultrasound. My right lobe measured 6.0 x 2.8 x 2.4cm left lobe 5.7 x 2.3 x 2.6cm. I was wondering the dimensions of a NORMALNormal saline flush thyroid in comparison to my mesurements?
You're running big. My left lobe's about the same size as yours (have a large nodule, 4.7cm, named Herbie), although my right lobe is more or less normalNormal saline flush in size, even with nodules.
Got this from Dr Lupo over at the dr's forum. Average thyroid size, per lobe - 4-4.8 x 1.0-1.8 x 0.8-1.6cm.
Was there any further information from the ultrasound regarding any nodules?
