Thyroid nodes

by DeborahJ, Oct 09, 2008 03:19PM
I was given an ultrasound on my thyroid about 6 years ago as I was also feeling a "tightness" in my throat. The ultrasound showed a dark spot on each of my side of my thyroid, but when the doctor ordered the usual thyroid tests afterwards, the results were considered normal.  He told me to just keep an eye on it and not to worry. I am a women in my late 50's and am experiencing unusual tireness and dry skin.  My mother takes thyroid medications and I was wondering if I need to check my thyroid more often.

This discussion is related to Swollen lymph node and 'clicking' feeling when swallowing.

Hello and welcome to our community!

You may want repeat tests all around .. I'm not sure on the "spots" but wanted to stop by to say hello!
