Thyroid nodule after baby

I am a 35 yr old female who is 9 wks postpartum with my 2nd child ( My 1st child is 2. )  Found a right thyroid nodule at 3 wks postpartum and saw ENT.

US results are as follows: dominant, heterogeneous and partially cystic nodule within the right thyroid lobe.  This nodule measures 2.7 x 2.2 x 1.6 cm.  There is moderate internal vascularity."  The ENT doc seemed to talk like this is thyroid cancer.  I am having an US guided biopsy in 2 days.  What is anyone else's experience with these results?

I just read your post and was wondering what the outcome was and how you are doing.....if you get a chance to respond that would be great.  I'm going through a similar situation.....solid nodule and normal TSH levels.....have appt. with ENT for possible removal of thyroid.....
