As per my knowledge Thyrois range should be less than 4. When it is already within the range then why doctory has increased my dose. She is saying, it should be less than 2. Will it effect the baby if I increase my dose.
I was just diagnosed with Hypo and want to get pregnant in the next year or so. My Dr. said that when you are pregnant its imporant to get your levels tested every 4 weeks adn your TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh should be below 2 just as your Dr. said. They say it affects the IQ of the baby if your levels are off. I have no idea if that is correctCorrect (new formula) or not I"m just telling you waht was said to me.
I am 29 weeks pregnant with TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh 0.09 and am taking 3g thyroid extract. I questioned both my GP and OB about why they want to keep my dose so high with such a low TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh. Their main aim was to keep my T3 (4.5) and T4 (9.2) in range.
