My family doctors sent me to have another thyroid scan on friday and she called me today and wanted me to make an appointment with my surgeon asap. I go tomorrow. My question is can they tell if the cancer is back thru the scan?

no I've didnt have any RAI I can not have anything to do with Iodine. The term they called it was residual tissue. I dont know what this means but I guess I will see on Friday.Thanks for you well wishes.
