Surgery is a good option if you have having symptoms that are inpacting on your every day life. I had a normal thyroid function with some other issues and a goiter 6.8cm large, I was fainting, having breathing issues, not sleeping, not able to function and yes I had a TT. I cant say I had a "normal" surgery and it was easy, but its WELL worth getting past the day to day symptoms that I had pre TT and I would recommend it to anyone.
