Thyroid symptom treatment no thyroid meds

by AJWS6, Feb 23, 2009 09:43AM
Hi,
I just spoke with my raidologist this morning, and he advised me to get online and find out from others, what type of treatments are provided for thyroid symptoms, but not thyroid medications.  But he said, find out all you can about thyroid symptom treatments pertaining to normal labs.

Such as medications to treat exhaustion ?  Medications for adrenal fatigue.  Which is my major symptom at the moment.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Have you had vitamin B12 tested?  The main symptom of pernicious anemia is fatigue.  Could be that a simple B12 shot once a month might fix you up.  Otherwise, go the health food store and find a sublingual vitamin B12 and try that for a while.  I inject B12 every 2 weeks and it sure helps keep me awake!!
